David Moorhead, a PhD student at the University of Bedfordshire, has been named as Britain’s ‘Most Deserving Student’ by leading used car network, Motors.co.uk. The dyspraxia and dyslexia sufferer, who is completing a PhD in 'The impact of commercial ideology and screenplay structure on cinematic adaptation', received a nearly-new Renault Twingo sourced from Sutton Park Motor Group through the Motors.co.uk vehicle database, as well as a £1,000 donation to his university’s Students’ Union.

Dealers should be looking ahead to a good year as part-exchange values continue to follow an upward trend, according to Manheim’s latest monthly Market Analysis. The average selling price of dealer part-exchange vehicles grew by 15.7 per cent over the last twelve months, reaching a value of £2,826 in January 2013.

Eight years after launching the UK’s first online vehicle auction platform, Simulcast, Manheim has pioneered the industry again with the launch of its mobile version. The upgraded Simulcast, which was introduced to the industry on Monday, 11th February, is the UK’s first fully compatible online vehicle auction platform.
